I first heard this song on a car commercial and from there I immediately Googled “Chevrolet commercial some people talk about you.” Google steered me directly into the arms of Janelle Monae.  I know it’s kind of super lame to pick a song from an ad, but here we are.  It makes me happy and I don’t even own a Chevy.  When it comes on the television (and when I play it away from the tv), I immediately begin mentally doing the tightrope dance from the video.  Of course, I could never do that in real life because I’m about as coordinated at a drunk baby camel, but in my head, I can do it all day long.  The dance.  Seriously, people, focus.

Tightrope by Janelle Monae makes me happy.  And I don’t care who knows it.  T-t-t-tip on the tightrope.
